DeepFile is a lightweight, offline-friendly macOS application that enhances how you search and navigate your local documents using AI. It’s plug-and-play and optimised to run efficiently even on low-spec machines.
DeepFile deploys compact LMs on premise. Once downloaded you decide what folders and drives you want it to connect with. The software indexes these folders and creates a searchable vector layer that enables you to receive answers in seconds. When answering a question DeepFile first finds the matching source passage and then generates an answer based off it.
Once installed, DeepFile allows you to choose which folders or drives you want to index. When you ask a question, DeepFile scans your indexed content, finds the most relevant passages, and generates an accurate response, all without leaving your device.
You’ll receive update notifications via the email address associated with your DeepFile account. New versions are made available for download on our website, and we’ll notify you whenever an update is released.
You can always access DeepFile on any device by using the server-hosted version. Moreover, our team is currently developing a windows-compatible app which will be released soon. Get notified once it becomes available!
